Kölsch

Kölsch is a traditional beer style from the city of Cologne in Germany. It is known for its clear, golden color and delicate taste.

This beer is brewed like a lager, first at lower temperatures and then fermented like an IPA at higher temperatures. This gives it a more unique flavor profile that has more notes and aromas than the classic lager.

Kölsch: Cologne's golden brew

Kölsch is more than just a beer; it's part of Cologne's culture and identity. The golden brew has a long history stretching back to the 17th century.

Known for its balance of malt and hops, as well as its gentle fruity character, Kölsch is a beer that can be enjoyed by beer lovers. Similar in expression and taste to a pilsner, a Kölsch, like a pilsner and ales, is suitable for many meals, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert.

A summer favorite: Light and refreshing kölsch

With its light body and refreshing taste, Kölsch is the perfect summer beer. Its low alcohol content makes it ideal for long afternoons on the terrace or a picnic in the park.

The subtle notes of fruit and grain make for a pleasant drinking experience that doesn't get too heavy in the heat. Whether you're at a barbecue or on the beach, a cold Kölsch can be your faithful companion throughout the summer.
