Basqueland's Barrel Works program presents an Imperial Stout that has been aged for several months in Pedro Ximénez barrels. This brewing process has imparted rich and complex notes of dark fruit, chocolate, and espresso, which are further enhanced by the sweet, wine-like character of the Pedro Ximénez sherry. The result is a luxurious, full-bodied stout with a smooth mouthfeel and a warming finish that invites contemplation.
