The story of "Coconut Beam" has its roots in a 2005 experiment, brewing a mighty 16% imperial stout that remained hidden. Fast forward to 2021, and Dugges Bryggeri embraced brewing extravagance with the Mega-Series, producing massive 15% adjunct stouts because more is, well, more.
From this lineup, "Coco Coconut" stood out as a liquid Bounty candy bar, bursting with coconut. A select portion of this brew was then aged in both Kentucky Rye Whisky and Martinique Rhum Agricole barrels, giving birth to "Coconut Beam" and "Coconut Cream."
