Öö X is a robust and decadent Barrel Aged Imperial Baltic Porter from Pöhjala, with a rich and complex flavor profile. This beer is a special edition brewed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their original Öö Baltic Porter. Aged in freshly emptied Cognac barrels, Öö X has a deep and dark color with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit, balanced by a subtle sweetness and a warming alcohol finish. The barrel aging adds an extra layer of complexity, with notes of oak, vanilla, and a slight booziness from the Cognac. At 13% ABV, Öö X is a sipper that rewards slow drinking and contemplation.
