This deluxe, thick beer starts with a base of milk chocolate, caramel, and juicy red fruits, and is then aged for 14 months in Cognac barrels to infuse it with notes of molasses and smooth pear tones. An additional 12 months in Bourbon barrels adds vanilla and oak undertones, resulting in a complex and robust flavor profile. Despite the joviality surrounding its name, this beer is no joke and may even give a hint to the brewer's all-time best rated beer.
