The Candied Walnut & Date Cognac Barrel Whangdoodle from The Veil is an Imperial Chocolate Milk Stout that has been aged in Cognac barrels for an average of 19 months. It has been conditioned on candied walnuts and dates, which impart cakey and elegant flavors to the beer. The combination of the rich chocolate flavors from the stout, the subtle sweetness of the milk sugars, and the nutty and fruity notes from the walnuts and dates make for a complex and delicious drinking experience.
