Utilizing frozen fresh Cryo Simcoe from Yakima Chief Hops enhances the essential notes of grapefruit, pine, and pungent dankness, characteristic of this style. The base is made up of Pale Ale, Vienna and a variety of caramel malts. This brew is heavily hopped with Ekuanot, Columbus, Amarillo, and Simcoe throughout the entire process, from mashing to dry hopping. It has a clear, golden amber color and finishes clean and dry with a lingering hop bitterness and a robust malt profile. The bouquet boasts an intense and complex mix of hop flavors, including vibrant grapefruit and citrus, resinous pine, and delicate floral undertones. With a 8% ABV, this is a Double IPA that is not to be missed.
