3 Fonteinen's Oude Geuze Platinum Blend (season 21|22) Blend No. 57 is a masterpiece with a fascinating aging process. Bottled on 31/03/2022, it's the result of a meticulous blend. Lambics from four different barrels and nine unique brews were harmoniously combined. This included lambics aged for one, two, and four years, in a well-balanced 27/30/43 proportion. To enhance the blend, a touch of freshly brewed wort was introduced.
Upon bottling, the beer already boasts an average age exceeding 30 months. Following at least a year of bottle conditioning, it achieves a remarkable weighted age of over 42 months. What makes this blend even more special is that nearly 40% of it is crafted from lambics brewed with grains sourced from 3 Fonteinen's very own Cereal Collective.
