Rochefort 8, also known as "Spéciale", is the newest creation by Abbaye Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy. This Belgian Strong Dark Ale has a tawny color and a strong aroma with rich fruitiness, highlighted by subtle fig undertones and a slight spiced dryness reminiscent of cake. Originally called "Spécial" and with an ABV of 9.2% and IBU of 22, this complex and vigorous beer dates back to the mid-1950s and boasts a deep brown color and robust full-bodied flavor. Crafted with expert precision, the aroma offers elusive notes of fresh fruit, spice, leather, and figs, providing an indulgent drinking experience.
